We have a fantastic opportunity for a Leave and Crew Records Lead to join our dynamic Crew Logistics team. This role is responsible for the development, monitoring, and optimisation of systems and processes to ensure timely and accurate crew bio updates, meeting both regulatory compliance and operational requirements.

Reporting to the Data & Enablement Manager, you will manage a team of 10 Specialists and Coordinators and lead initiatives to enhance process efficiency through detailed analysis and engagement with Flight and Cabin Crew Management.
  • Accountable for implementing strategies and driving efficiencies, both in the operation and logistically, that support paid and unpaid leave management and day-off allocation for pilots and crew.
  • Focus on accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to contractual, union, and workforce planning requirements.
  • Detailed analysis, system testing, and collaboration with third-party suppliers to enhance processes.
  • Driving continuous improvement by implementing bespoke communication platforms and methods that align with organisational goals and support crew management effectiveness.
We are looking for someone who has proven experience in Crew Logistics, leave management, and operational scheduling, with an understanding of workforce planning and regulatory compliance within a unionised environment. We are also looking for the following:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks, including prioritising competing responsibilities.
  • Skilled in communicating complex information across diverse audiences, from crew members to senior management, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
  • Effective in building and managing strategic partnerships with third-party suppliers, ensuring SLAs are met and fostering innovation and flexibility.
  • In-depth knowledge of the legal, contractual, and union requirements relevant to crew management.
  • Proficient in analysing data and deriving actionable insights to support improvements, compliance, and efficiency.
