At Virgin Atlantic, we’re seeking a highly capable and trusted professional to support our Chief Financial Officer. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide executive-level coordination and insight, enabling the CFO and Finance Leadership Team to operate with clarity, focus, and efficiency.
You’ll play a key role in managing priorities, preparing for critical engagements, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. With a strong grasp of business dynamics and a proactive mindset, you’ll help the CFO stay ahead in a fast-paced, evolving environment—bringing structure, foresight, and calm to complex challenges.
If you excel at strategic support, thrive in high-performing teams, and are motivated by the opportunity to contribute at the highest level of financial leadership, we’d love to hear from you.
- Act as the first point of contact and trusted support for the CFO
- Manage and optimise diary, travel, and key meeting cycles for the FLT and beyond
- Coordinate high-level Board, Remuneration and Audit Committee meeting schedules across our locations
- Lead the planning and execution of key meetings including Finance Leadership offsites and standups
- Oversee the CFO’s approvals, expenses, and audit record compliance with precision
- Influence and coach the wider PA community across Finance community
- Drive collaboration across Virgin Group and Delta EA networks
You might be exactly who we need if:
- You’ve supported a C-suite executive in a sizeable organisation (such as FTSE250 or 5000+ employee size) before and thrive on operating in their slipstream
- You’re proactive, self-driven and know how to calmly steer through changing priorities
- You’ve got the confidence and presence to influence senior stakeholders—with warmth and clarity
- You juggle multiple priorities with grace, keeping everything (and everyone) moving
- You're fluent in Microsoft Office and digitally savvy, especially with Teams, Excel and PowerPoint
- You’re a connector: building relationships is your superpower, and discretion is your trademark
- Above all, you’re excited to help shape the future of finance at one of the world’s most iconic airlines
