As an Analyst in our Fuel team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our fuel operations are efficient, accurate, and future-ready. You’ll be responsible for maintaining robust controls around fuel availability, accounting, systems, and payment processes. This role is all about influence—working with internal and external stakeholders to reduce risk, improve supply arrangements, and enhance the customer experience.
You’ll need to be confident in challenging the status quo, even at senior levels, and be able to translate complex fuel requirements into clear, actionable insights. From supporting audits to driving transformational change, you’ll be a key player in keeping our fuel operations running smoothly and sustainably.
- Ensure effective controls over fuel availability, accounting, credit terms, systems, and payment processes, while minimizing risks and enhancing supply arrangements.
- Own the fuel balance sheet, implement new accounting processes, and provide audit support.
- Monitor fuel inventory and e-handshake performance, and support hub airports with supply reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing processes, identifying system issues, and collaborating with tech providers.
- Act as a subject matter expert on complex invoicing and accounting processes.
- Provide cover for the Fuel Manager during critical or disruptive situations.
- Excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Confident working with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple data sources and priorities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and finance systems.
- Proven experience in process improvement and automation.
- Knowledge of fuel procurement, supply, and accountancy principles desirable but not essential
- Comfortable navigating audit processes and governance frameworks.
- Passionate about sustainability and innovation in aviation.
