Sitting in the Flying Club Performance Team, this role is responsible for providing analysis and insight that support the performance and development of Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. It will help us make the right calls for both existing and future loyalty benefits and will drive the commercial growth of existing propositions.
You’ll be delivering first-class insights and actionable recommendations that can shape all areas of Flying Club. You will be close and inquisitive with all available datasets to maintain high quality outputs and also help identify/resolve potential issues. As a subject matter expert you will be expected to proactively respond to queries, both wider briefs and small ad hoc requests. This proactive approach will help uncover insights that will drive member growth, engagement, retention and revenue.
The role will work closely with the Business Intelligence and Analytics team, analysts in the CRM and Joint Business team as well as Revenue Management and Finance, ensuring that all sources of data and insight are brought together to tell a holistic story.
- Responsible for building and maintaining core business dashboards whilst also providing key commentary from identified trends and insights that can be shared with business stakeholders. Turn large data-based analyses into clear and concise presentations with actionable insights.
- Support the development and optimisation of our loyalty strategy by providing understanding of our member behaviour and interpreting customer data.
- Complete evaluation of existing and future loyalty propositions to enhance member retention and drive business growth.
- Analyse and assess programme performance and support key performance forecasts, reforecasts and budget setting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align loyalty initiatives with overall business goals. Proactively respond to queries raised across the business.
- Work hand-in-hand with the Business Intelligence Team to manage and prioritise data requests and reporting.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at Virgin Red as necessary to develop core business dashboards whilst also providing key commentary from identified trends.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability by implementing data quality checks and validation processes.
- Relevant qualification in an analytical or technical discipline coupled with demonstrable experience working as part of an insights delivery team
- Working knowledge of SQL to build datasets for insights and use of visualisation tool(s) for automated reporting are essential, Power BI and Databricks SQL knowledge would be highly desired.
- Experience producing C suite presentations
- Strong track record of customer service / consumer-centric orientation to keep the category and guest front of mind
- Loyalty / FFP experience
- Excellent project management skills with an eye for detail and high standards of execution: ability to oversee multiple workstreams, timelines and stakeholder expectations
- Agility to react to business challenges and the simple fact that things change all the time
- Ability to communicate complex results and analysis in a way that is east for a variety of stakeholders to understand
