Location:     Flexible working with up to 3 days a week in our VHQ, Crawley

This role is crucial for Virgin Atlantic's marketing success. It involves planning and optimizing global media investment across all channels. The candidate needs knowledge of traditional and digital media, as well as strong leadership skills. They will develop and implement media strategies that align with marketing objectives to reach target audiences effectively. 

 
Work with cross-functional teams and external media agencies to plan, optimize, and evaluate media campaigns across various channels, including digital, TV, radio, print, out-of-home, and social. Use data insights, audience behaviour, and market trends to ensure effective media plans. Drive media performance and achieve maximum ROI. Analyse complex data sources to improve media efficiency. Manage annual media budgets and leverage emerging technologies for impactful media campaigns. Strong analytical and communication skills required. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Deep understanding of traditional and digital media channels. Stay updated on media trends and emerging platforms for a competitive and innovative media strategy.   • Develop and implement media strategies that align with marketing objectives and target audiences. 
  • Plan, optimize, and evaluate media campaigns across various channels, including digital, TV, radio, print, out-of-home, and social. 
  • Leverage data insights, audience behaviour, and market trends to ensure effective media plans. 
  • Drive media performance and ensure investments deliver maximum value. 
  • Analyse intricate data sources to boost media efficiency. 
  • Manage annual media budgets  
  • Capitalize on data and new technologies to elevate media campaigns. 
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest media trends, emerging platforms, and new technologies. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external media agencies. 
Experience gained within a Leading Media Agency & worked across multiple accounts   

Proven experience in media strategy and execution, with significant expertise in above-the-line (ATL) and digital media channels. 

Experience in handling substantial media budgets of and delivering significant value. 

Strong analytical skills with experience in media audits, econometric analysis, and performance data interpretation. 

Experience with first-party data integration into media campaigns using platforms like Adobe or similar. 

Ability to manage and collaborate with multiple teams and collaborators to ensure successful, high-impact campaign delivery. 

Up-to-date knowledge of emerging media channels, tools, and technologies. 

Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and improve campaign performance. 

Strong leadership skills and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships. 

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, keeping engagement and output high.
