In this role as Country Manager – South Korea, you’ll be the face of Virgin Atlantic in Seoul, representing our brand across media, industry events, and business networks. You’ll lead the commercial strategy and sales performance in South Korea, managing either a direct team or a General Sales Agent (GSA). Your mission will be to deliver passenger revenue targets, develop strategic plans, and lead a high-performing sales team that drives growth and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver revenue targets while managing cost and overheads effectively.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies, including pricing, distribution, and marketing initiatives.
- Lead and coach a best-in-class sales team, ensuring performance, development, and succession planning.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including GSAs, HQ teams, and local partners.
- Analyse market data to identify opportunities and drive profitable growth.
- Ensure compliance with local legislation and Virgin Atlantic’s governance standards.
- Represent Virgin Atlantic at industry events and in-country forums.

Alongside, we’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the travel or aviation industry.
- Proven senior management experience with people leadership responsibilities, along with success in developing and executing commercial strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing GSAs or direct sales teams.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence across a matrix organisation.
- The right to live and work in South Korea.
