We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our People Operations team as the Consultant – People Operations, Americas. This role is essential in supporting our HR functions and programmes across USA, Canada, and The Caribbean.

As the Consultant – People Operations, Americas, you will support the Manager People Operations US and the People Operations team in the UK to deliver excellence in USA, Canada, and The Caribbean. You will be responsible for helping to deliver key HR functions and programmes in the region.

This role reports to the Manager – People Operations Excellence ROW and sits within the People Operations directorate. You will collaborate with Organisational Effectiveness, People Relations, and the wider People Operations team to ensure smooth HR operations in the Americas.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice and support on all HR-related queries in the USA, Canada and Caribbean.
  • Support the drive of employee happiness, ensuring leaders have the support they need and colleagues are communicated with effectively.
  • Input into the timely delivery and sign-off of US Payroll, ensuring its executed well and payroll is accurate.
  • Oversee communications and policy updates, supporting the design of policies in the region and giving credible advice to colleagues and leaders.
  • Build relationships internally with colleagues and leaders and externally with suppliers, and partners.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in HR in the US Region and working in a matrix organisation.
  • SHRM qualification preferred.
  • Acts with substantial discretion and professionalism, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Strong ability to use Microsoft Office packages such as Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • You will need to have the right to live and live in the US.
