We're looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our amazing people team, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of the end-to-end payroll support services, overseeing data entry, the accurate processing of payroll and the timely production of post-payroll reports to Finance.
This role focuses on reviewing time and attendance data with the team on a periodic basis, supervising the processing of both regular and off-cycle payroll, distribution of payments, processing of payroll accounting and reconciliation, processing of quarterly, semi-annual and year-end activities. In addition to providing solutions to specific queries related to payroll across the business to enhance our internal customer experience whilst promoting self-service capabilities that are available.

- Process the company's payroll every pay period, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support departments with data input related to payroll.
- Assist Payroll Seniors with administrative tasks and global payroll processing.
- Gather, calculate, and input data to maintain payroll processing.
- Compute employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes.
- Calculate deductions, overtime, bonuses, allowances, and special payments.
- Manually adjust SMP, SSP, pay rates, and other miscellaneous adjustments.
- Deduct the correct amount of pension contributions, income tax, and National Insurance.
- Generate reports, create P45s, and submit EPS and FPS to HMRC in accordance with RTI regulations.
- Prepare relevant information, reports, data, and forms related to employment.
- Collaborate with Finance to reconcile and post the Payroll GL File
In addition to the above, we are looking for our successful candidate to demonstrate the following:
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and statutory regulations.
- Proven experience in providing remote, efficient payroll support through various channels.
- Strong numerical skills with a keen attention to detail, prioritization and organization.
- Experience of maintaining confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times
- Evidence of providing clear analysis and warm, personal customer service, collaboration with stakeholders to capture, identify, feedback trends to improve payroll processes to enhance employee satisfaction.
