Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Hybrid working 3 days a week in Virgin Atlantic HQ, Fleming Way, Crawley, West Sussex
Contract: Permanent

This is a role at the centre of how one of Virgin Atlantic’s most critical leadership functions operates. As Executive Assistant to the SVP Corporate Development & Legal Affairs, you will be the force that keeps everything moving, creating clarity, driving focus, and ensuring time is spent where it matters most.
You will partner closely with a senior leader operating in a fast-paced, high-impact environment spanning corporate strategy, legal, governance, and regulatory activity. It is a role that goes far beyond diary management. Acting as a trusted gatekeeper, a connector across teams, and a key enabler of decision-making at the highest level of the business.
If you thrive on pace, enjoy working with senior stakeholders, and take pride in bringing order and precision to complexity, this is an opportunity to step into a role with real influence.
- Orchestrate the SVP’s diary, priorities, and time to maximise focus, impact, and delivery
- Act as a trusted point of contact, managing communications and representing the SVP with professionalism and judgement
- Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings, offsites, and wider directorate activity, ensuring clear agendas and outcomes
- Manage complex travel, logistics, and expenses in line with company policies
- Support Board and Committee cycles alongside the Company Secretary, ensuring timely preparation and distribution of materials
- Maintain oversight of approvals, governance, and compliance activities, including audit records and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the wider EA/PA community and stakeholders across Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Group, and Delta
- Contribute to team engagement, wellbeing, and the smooth running of the Corporate Development & Legal Affairs function
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives, ideally at C-suite level within a complex and regulated environment such as Law, Financial Services, or Consultancy
- Proven ability to operate with confidence and credibility, including influencing and constructively challenging senior stakeholders
- Strong experience managing complex scheduling and diary management, including international travel coordination
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgement
- Strong organisational capability, with a track record of managing multiple, often competing priorities with precision and pace
- Evidence of proactive problem solving, anticipating needs and resolving issues before they escalate
- Established ability to build and maintain trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
- Experience working both autonomously and collaboratively within high-performing teams
- Practical working knowledge of core business tools including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
